TOP UAE INFLUENCERS GATHER FOR ‘BEAT THE HEAT’ IN-PERSON EVENT AND COMPETE IN FUN PUBG MOBILE SHOWCASE
Dubai – gulftech – UAE-based fans of gaming phenomenon PUBG MOBILE, one of the world’s most popular mobile games, attended the first in-person ‘Beat the Heat’ event, to enjoy interactive entertainment and showcase their skills while playing the game.
The event, on 27th August, hosted leading players and gaming influencers from across the UAE for an informal get-together to beat the summer heat, discuss PUBG MOBILE updates, and get an exclusive viewing of an upcoming episode of the ‘Crew Unknown’ miniseries, starring Mohamed Henedy, Mohamed Tharwat, Mirna Jamil and Otaka.
The PUBG MOBILE Beat the Heat event kicked-off with an introductory session by host BasharKKK and caster DevilGTV, giving a tournament overview which outlined three games in the Livik map, with the top three scoring players picking up cash prizes of $300, $200, and $100 Sfor first, second and third place respectively.
The tournament was played over three rounds, with the winners calculated by total points accumulated across all matches.
1st Place: TMW GEEK with a total of 138 point
2nd Place: Oofy with a total of 96 points.
3rd Place: Ra3d with a total of 85 points.
As part of PUBG MOBILE’s efforts to improve the quality of the player’s experience, the event was wrapped with a series of interview sessions with the winners and players to get their unique UX feedback on how best to optimize their in-game experience, to be relayed to the game developers.
