Movies
To kick-start the month, OSN brings you familiar faces such as Mark Wahlberg, Megan Fox, Shia LaBeouf, and more in all titles of the film franchise, Transformers! Another great action movie with Hollywood stars, 2 Guns, starring Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg, airs on 05 August, following the story of a DEA and Naval Intelligence officer who know each other as criminals and not their realities.
If you prefer a more mellow pace, The Post is delivered on OSN Streaming App exclusively on 06 August. Starring Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks, this drama shows how Washington Post staffers risked everything to publish the Pentagon Papers.
Airing on 01 August, Lebanese movie The Insult is set in present-day Beirut. An insult, blown out of proportion finds Toni, a Lebanese Christian, and Yasser, a Palestinian refugee, in a court case that attracts national attention.
For those looking to really clock up those hours, OSN is lighting a John Wick three-movie marathon, from 27 August 27th! And Mafia-lovers, watch your back and welcome Sicario and Sicario 2: Day of the Soldado exclusively to OSN from 13 August.

The twisted, Emmy-winning horror drama series American Horror Story: Double Feature screams onto OSN, promising new chills with every episode. Catch 10 new episodes every Thursday starting 26 August. Join the ‘noice’ guys on Golden Globe comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine, for the season finale exclusively on OSN from 13 August, with new episodes airing every Friday.
Another feel-good comedy to join OSN is season 1 of new series Kenan. You know him as the top performer on Saturday Night Live, nominated for three Primetime Emmy Awards. Airing from 03 August, Kenan follows a local Atlanta TV personality and single father who works hard to balance his career as the host of “Wake Up with Kenan,” a popular morning show, and raising two spirited, school-going daughters.
Animal Kingdom returns for season 5 on 05 August, with new episodes every week on OSN. When 17-year-old Joshua “J” Cody moves in with his freewheeling relatives in their Southern California beach town he is pulled into their life of indulgence and excess. But after J discovers that it’s all being funded by crime, it becomes clear that family comes with more danger and excitement than he might be ready to handle!
New to OSN is 8-part psychological thriller series Sanctuary. Set in the Alps, Helena heads out to visit her twin sister, Siri, when Siri mysteriously disappears. Trapped in her sister’s life, Helena deals with defining human issues of survival, identity, trust, and betrayal. The full series premieres 05 August.
As always, Turkish drama series such as Al Tufah Al Haram (AKA Forbidden Fruit) promises binge-worthy entertainment on OSN 08 August. Catch a glimpse of the daily struggle to navigate through love, loss, and unexpected tests and tribulations that life offers.
Docuseries
Get the inside scoop of some of the biggest affairs, betrayals, and infidelities in the history of the royal family as the revelations continue on The Royal Family: Affairs & Infidelities, airing 19 August.
Beirut Blast: The Story of Warehouse 12 is a somber account of the recent tragedy, in time for the first anniversary of the mishap. Told through 30 interviews and stunning footage both of the event and of the aftermath, the protagonists of the story tell us where they were and what happened to them, their families and friends and of the courageous rebuilding that started almost immediately. Starting 04 August, this documentary is available to view with subtitles in English and Arabic.

Disney lovers will be happy to know that airing for the first time on OSN are seasons 1 and 2 of Gravity Falls. From 02 August, get ready to follow the adventurous lives of twins Dipper and Mabel as they visit their Great Uncle Stan’s home for the summer. Returning with another season on 08 August is animated series PJ Masks showing us what team-work is all about when Octobella, a bubbly and excitable new villain that lives underwater in the city’s canals, gives the gang a run for their money.
