OSN Unveils Its July Bundle Packed With Premium Arabic Entertainment

Line-up includes OSN’s first Original Production Yallah Net’asha, award-winning Al Douka, and many more must-see Arabic and Disney series and movies

Dubai, UAE – gulftech OSN, the region’s leading entertainment hub, has revealed a glittering line-up of Arabic series and films that will descend on the network this July. From Arab, Russian, and Turkish series on OSN Ya Hala Al Oula channel, to Eid Al Adha specials for Disney lovers, and Egyptian comedies on OSN Ya Hala Cinema, OSN is the summer go-to for quality Arabic stories and shows on television and OTT.

OSN Ya Hala Al Oula
Fresh from the success of its debut season in 2020, OSN Original production Yallah Net’asha, the Arabic version of popular British reality food show Come Dine With Me, returns with the second season. With 30 episodes to look forward to, the show begins on 25 July, weekly from Sunday to Thursday at 7.30 KSA on OSN Ya Hala Al Oula and all seasons available on OSN Streaming App. A new group of four contestants every week take turns to host a dinner at their home, and each of the guests rate the experience.

July will also see a lot of new and exclusive titles, Ramadan repeats, and a veritable whirlpool of drama-series perfect to keep you entertained all summer long. Tune into the new and exclusive Russian series, Zuleikha Taftah Aynaha. Set in 1930, Zuleikha battles the odds following the murder of her husband and a forced exile, which brings her face-to-face with her husband’s killer. The tale unfolds from 04 July to 13 August at 9:50pm KSA Sunday through Thursday on OSN Ya Hala Al Oula and is available as a box set on OSN Streaming App.

The multi-award-winning eight-episode series Al Douka will air from 14 July to 22 July at 9:50 pm KSA Sunday to Thursday. This Russian love story narrates the life of Byzantine princess, Sophia Palaiologina, who cements her place in history as one the early influential figures of the Russian empire.

What is romance without a touch of drama? For those who missed the 30-episode series during Ramadan, OSN Al Oula is bringing back Kharief Al Oushaq Sunday through Thursday from 10 June to 21 July, at 10:50pm KSA. With a story spanning 20 years, this series looks into the sacrifices for love, and tackles social and political issues between 1972 and ‘92.
Exclusively on OSN Ya Hala Al Oula, drama series Shariat Al Gab will keep you on your toes from Sunday through Thursday from 25 July to 02 September at 10:50pm KSA. The story revolves around a girl from the velvet community who is kidnapped one night while returning to her home. This incident will open the door to the confrontation between two worlds: the first is an unknown isolated world where a gang of five young men live in a forest that feeds on theft and looting, and the other world is the velvet, where is a lot of corruption hides behind glamorous facade.

Turkish drama series Al Kha’en promises to creep-up and turn into a binge-fest. Adapted from the BBC One television series ‘Doctor Foster’, this story spotlights a perfect family of three, living a life of peace and happiness – or so Asya thought! The pace picks up when Asya finds a strand of blonde hair on her husband Volkan’s scarf and dedicates herself to get revenge on her husband and everyone else who betrayed her along the way. Stay faithful to this series Sunday through Thursday from 16 May to 19 July at 9pm KSA, and watch in Arabic and Turkish, with Arabic and English subtitles.

OSN Ya Hala Cinema
Leading the way on OSN Ya Hala Cinema is award-winning short-movie drama, Ome, which will air exclusively on 09 July at 11pm KSA. This heart-rending story, of nine-year-old Elias, whose faith is tested after the unexpected death of his mother, takes you on a journey through the stages of grief caused by the loss of a loved one.

Eid Al Adha
To mark the festivities of Eid Al Adha, the OSN app will feature a collection of Disney’s well-loved animated masterpieces. With tales and collections such as Raya and The Last Dragon, the Toy Story Trilogy, Moana, Ratatouille, and more, the family can binge together during the first two days of Eid (20 & 21 July).
