NWC expands service coverage by finishing a sanitation project at an Arar district at SR +61M

National Water Company ”NWC”, represented by General Department of Water, Northern Border Region, announced implementation completion of sanitary drainage networks project (Satge IV) at the Airport Badana District in Arar city, Northern Border Region. The stage 4 cost 61.1 Million Saudi Riyals, in order to increase the coverage of environmental services, remove environmental damage, and utilize treated water for industrial purposes.

Engr. Raed bin Hammad Al-Rashid, Senior General Manager, Northern Cluster, noted that longer than 41 km of networks and 62 household sanitary drainage connections have been implemented in Arar city. He indicating that the project contributes to the transfer of treated water to Waad Al-Shamal Industrial City serving more than 611 beneficiaries.

The Senior General Manager, Northern Cluster, stated that NWC is continuing to implement some water and sanitation projects, and cover more areas in the Northern Border Region, as part of the company’s plans and programs of strategic projects aimed at boosting the water and environmental services system in the region, on the way to the goals of the Saudi Arabian Vision 2030.
