Anghami Partners with MDL Beast Soundstorm to Help Amplify Local Voices
In-line with Anghami’s vision in KSA to further empower youth and provide them a platform to create and promote audio
Riyadh, KSA, gulftech – Anghami, the leading music streaming platform in the Middle East and North Africa, has partnered with MDL Beast Soundstorm, the region’s biggest music festival taking place in Riyadh KSA, to bring music lovers nonstop beats for four full days, starting from 16 until 19 December 2021.
As the festival’s official music streaming partner, Anghami will be blending music from the two different worlds of international and local music as part of on-ground events and digital music streaming.
The 150 artist-lineup is a vast mix of international headliners and local talent, ranging from global superstars like Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta, Deadmau5, DJ Snake, Martin Garrix, Tiesto and Steve Aoki to homegrown gems like Cosmicat, Dish Dash, and Anmarz.
With on-ground activations, ticket discounts, and free Anghami PLUS vouchers, Soundstorm visitors will get the chance to experience Anghami on several levels. During the event, visitors are invited to visit the Anghami booth and enjoy an unlimited music streaming experience by listening to their favorite MDL Beast artists directly through the Anghami application.
Furthermore, MDL Beast fans can now purchase their tickets directly from Anghami and enjoy a 10% discount, as well as two months of Anghami PLUS subscription for free.
Both partners share the same vision of supporting local Arab talent by offering them global exposure, with several playlists and sections created in-app to support and highlight the artists performing at Soundstorm.
In addition to the Soundstorm event, Anghami will also have a special area allocated for workshops at MDL Beast XP, a music conference happening in Riyadh which aims to accelerate MENA’s music industry. The three workshops that Anghami is organizing will focus on music production as well as supporting local talent through marketing and music distribution.
This comes in-line with Anghami’s vision in KSA to further empower youth and provide a platform for them not only to listen and engage with audio, but also to create and promote this audio.
