Almarai participates in “Anuga 2021” exhibition in Germany
Almarai participated in Saudi Arabia’s pavilion in “Anuga Expo 2021” held in Cologne in Germany from 9 to 13 October. The participation came as part of “Made in Saudi Arabia” program with 21 other Saudi companies from the food sector.
“Almarai’s participation comes from our role as one of the largest food and beverage companies locally, regionally, and globally. We are also a key partner of Made in Saudi program that supports the local Saudi product and promotes it to reach the international markets. This is to raise the private sector’s contribution to GDP to 65% and increase non-oil exports to about 50% of non-oil GDP by 2030.” said Abdullah Al-Otaibi, Head of Corporate Communications and Public Relations.
Almarai’s stand has displayed a wide range of high-quality food and beverages, ranging from fresh dairy products to yogurt and cheese, natural juices, and dates, in addition to a variety of the infant formula, Nuralac. Lusine and Seven Days also participated, with a range of their baked goods such as pies, croissants, and cakes. Alyoum is too participated by providing poultry products within the company’s stand.
It is worth mentioning that Almarai is the largest vertically integrated dairy company globally and the largest food and beverage company in production and distribution in the Middle East. Almarai owns many brands such as Almarai, Al-Youm, Lusine, and Seven-Days, and it’s considered a leader in all GCC markets
